Still, at least she didn't lie to the Queen, like Johnson did.

I'm sure we can all agree that would have been so disrespectful that she, I mean he, should have been thrown out of the job.

But Tories like that sort of thing.

When would Naga get the chance to lie to the queen ?

I 'liked' tweets today that were offensive in nature about the use of the British flag as a backdrop in a government interview this morning. I have since removed these 'likes'. This do not represent the views of me or the BBC. I apologise for any offence taken. Naga

And you interpret that was a "humbling and embarrassing apology"

If you read it carefully, you will see she did not apologise at all for what she did.

She only apologised for any offence that they may have caused.

they were clearly sneary about being proud of our country, they were without doubt expressing bias
No they weren't.

The joke had nothing to do with criticism of the country.

It had nothing to do with the flag at all.

It's funny how Tory supporters fall for for their childish strategies

This how basic it is:

1 Tory party make a big thing about patriotism, symbolism with flags etc
2 a person criticises Tories for their corruption
3 Tory party say said person is not patriotic.

I think Cummings is still running Tory strategy.....this childish stuff gameplay is typical of him.

A 'grovelling snivelling' apology from what I read.
Not seen it anywhere (nor have I gone hunting for it either). And MSN are obviously not bothered about reporting it. I've looked on Sky and BBC news pages. My PC home page is a series of news articles from all walks of life - nowt there either. Must just be a typical right wing rag non-story.

Nothing to see here.

I guess you may have noticed for many years my flag is my avatar. Im absolutely proud of it, no im not a football supporter or a racist or a nationalist. But i am proud of being English, just as anyone else should be entitled to be proud of their country without being mocked or insulted about it.

I also have one in my car, my boat, in my garden and my underpants sometimes.
The Union Jack and the St George cross have been tainted by association with the far right. Nobody seems surprised any more to see some bull-headed idiot draped in the flag and performing a Nazi salute. Which is a quite remarkable state of affairs.

And now it appears that Tories have acted illegally yet again by reducing the Foreign Aid Budget.
Government decision to cut aid budget 'unlawful'
Although the 0.7% is enshrined in law, ministers have claimed the legislation allows them to miss the target, just so long as they explain to parliament why they have done so.
But Lord Macdonald's legal advice - which was first reported by the Sunday Times - disagrees and says the law does not give Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab any right to change the 0.7% target, which is different from missing it.

Was it bollax.

Look at the faux outrage in this thread, if you don't understand who the joke was aimed at. Flag shagging gammons were being mocked - obviously.

By a black woman. If Gammons were mocking the Indian flag in Naga's flat there would be outrage. Try to be consistent.
