France. Why do you think this is happening?

LOl Or see what they are up to. Their numbers had dropped but it appears nothing to do with her. Like all of her ilk she got herself elected by saying she would end the entire problem.

Bit like sir kier starmer than :giggle:

Eh?, Giorgia Meloni has reduced illegal immigration by 60%
Actual numbers are about 20,000 down from 70 odd. All down to N African countries doing various things to prevent boats leaving.

She's processing them an arranging for holding around 16,000 outside of Italy to be processed there by Italian staff.

More small boats have reached Britain under the Labour Government than the Conservatives' administration this year, according to Home Office figures.

Government data has revealed that 13,574 migrants crossed the Channel during the Conservative Government this year between January 1 and
July 4.

However, in just over three months of Keir Starmer's Labour, the number of boat crossing has already reached 13,759.

This has followed the news that an average of 135 small boat migrants have crossed the English Channel each day of Labour's first 100 days in Government.

It is a cynical presentation of numbers in a carefully selected time period.
It is common knowledge that the crucial months for the majority of the annual boat crossings are July to November, as illustrated on this chart:

2024 was on track to be better (Lower) than 2023, which was better than 2022.. until Labour announced it would scrap Rwanda and having nothing credible to replace it. Now 2024 is outperforming (worse) 2023 despite the better start at the beginning of the year.

Yes its true that even the illegals freeing the tyranny of France, know that the sea temperature remains warmest in the Late Summer and Autumn and coldest in the Spring

When did Labour announce it was scrapping the Rwanda policy.
It was early July, by coincidence the beginning of the same period that has already been identified as the beginning of the peak boat crossing period.
Now do you see the invalidity of your comment? You even recognised it yourself:

In addition there has been a year on year increase over the last few years. So it is no surprise if 2023 outperformed 2022, and that 2024 might outperform 2023.

A desperate claim.

There is a better diagram here https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/channel-crossings-tracker

Nobody is disputing when the peak is.. though there does appear to be a dispute about the definition of Summer.

What is clear, is that the Tories strategy, resulted in a fall in 2023 and this was on track to in 2024 until Labour announced their "Plan".

If the "Plan" was to get more people to come. Its going well (y)
