I was more looking at lack of earth bonding, but yes we use rings a lot so that sections can be isolated, but with domestic we are talking about ring finals which are not the same thing, but the word final does cause a problem, as English does not allow things like very end, or the final final, so we have used different names like spur and fused spur. The regulations show examples of rings finals and radial finals.

What does this relate to? Are you talking about earthing or bonding - and of what?
