How long is "long term". mRNA is one most quoted as brand new but it has been used in medicine since 2017 with work starting on it decades ago. Moderna is a manufacturer who were formed in 2010 and their name actually comes from modified rna.

And viral vector vaccines, like the AZ one, were first used almost 50 years ago. Yea, better wait a bit longer.

No. I am pointing out that the mortality rate while low is very significant when you look at the age groups most affected.

Although, 1% of the Uk population is 666,500 people.

Dismissing this virus as "just" killing 1% is pretty heartless.
