Such naivity is expected, love him or hate him, Nick Griffin is presently innocent. I don't like Blair, so I didn't vote for him. I also didn't like Thatcher, so didn't vote for her either. Get used to it and get a life, Nick Griffin is a member of a legal political party, if you don't like the BNP then don't vote for them, which part of democracy do you not understand?
Open your eyes please, the establishment is running scared of the BNP because they do have some valid points and are gaining support. They have, in the main, been upfront in their comments, which also happen to be comments that you don't want to hear.

as for the BNP i didnt join yet I SAY YET mainly because of some of there policys of which i disagree
but i do agree with the immigration policies they have to which i think they could be a lot harsher
as for nf come on no one would believe i could go down that route
PaulBrown, I neither love or hate Nick Griffin, but loathe all that he stands for. I am perfectly entitled to express those views in this democratic society.
The BNP are more refined than their forerunners the National Front, yet still stand for the same thing - white supremacy. I will speak out against extremists of whatever persuasion who wish to persecute others. It does concern me that some people are misled by their rhetoric and therefore think it of even more importance to show their true colours.
Nick Griffin is a convicted criminal who was found guilty of inciting racial hatred for denying that the holocaust ever took place.
If you cannot see past his thin veneer of respectability, perhaps it is you who is being naive. How anyone in their right mind can support such a person is beyond reason.

But you didn't express an opinion on what he stands for, you said this.
Your earlier comment was clearly referring to the present case, of which, for the time being, he was found not guilty. Later you have tried to discredit him further by raising his previous convictions, for which he has already served any sentence. Unlike some politicians, Nick Griffin has not tried too hide his past nor has he told lies. He openly admits his views so whats the issue?
Why should it concern you if people decide to vote for BNP? Its got naff all to do with you what party people vote for.
