Help identifying adapter plug

It looks to me like it's designed to have manufacturer specific plug units clipped on for various countries.

I'd suggest that your best options are to either contact bose or to replace the whole power brick.

I agree with plugwash. Here's a pic of my mobile phone charger. The 3 pin adapter slides onto the unit and clips in place. It came with a 'Euro' style pin adapter too so you can use either with the same charging unit.

If the seller hasn't supplied you with that part dps i'd get back onto him/her as it's clearly missing in my opinion.

Hope that helps.

i have tried that to no avail if i have to buy a new power pack so be it as l;ong as i can achieve it befor xmas day as panick is starting to kick inn lool apprecite all the help so far

ok, it's a bose adaptor, but you havent said to what..
bose do a lot of different things that an i-pod can dock with..
we need more specifics

Try the Apple Store or a Bose retailer. Only Bose retailer I know of is in Sutton Coldfield by me.

You've got Solihull or Bull Ring for an Apple Store too if you're not too far away in Northants.

Something like this http://maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=229072 would work, but you need to know which is positive and negative on the plug. Does the thing it plugs into indicate this?
How could that work? Can you see somewhere for such an adaptor to pwoer the unit the OP posted a picture of?

Why would it matter which is pos and neg on an AC appliance? In AC there is no pos and neg, its Line and Neutral.
