Hi Steve, I posted it as a suggestion if the OP couldn't find pin adapters anywhere. This PSU give 20V at 2A, the same as the one in the photo, so could possibly replace it completely. Should have made that clear really.

bought that one today it works but only if i hold the adaptor at an angle

You could probablly cut the plug off and solder on a 2.1mm one if you wanted.

wdik that was about as helpful as a carrier bag with a hole in the bottom i now know its was a stupid impulse buy by her but just trying to get it charged up for my son but cheers anyway for the comment

dpsservices, I'm sure it was suggested earlier in the thread but I don't think anything came of it... why not take it down to Maplins or similar electrical store and get them to see if one of their Universal Chargers will fit it and charge it? Seems the easiest solution to me.
blas bought a universal charger cost £35 quid but it doesn't work been working so ain't had a chance to find something yet plus im useless with computers but where's there a will there's a way hopefully
