I write an email, something i've never done, so if anyone could advise me on the following i would be very gratefull, BUT NOT THAT GRATEFULL


Ref property debt for the HIPS carried out on xxxxxx, Long Ashton, Bristol, I now under the circumstances think I was "mis sold" by your then manager and want to lodge a formal complaint and until this issue is resolved want the debt placed on hold

in writing would be better registered letter
heading saying copy to solicitorxxx citizens advice and xxx newspaper in two weeks time
of course other recipients are optional but make a good bargaining tool
make it formal but to the point don't waffle but tell them what you expect to be the outcome
give them a clue at what level you will be satisfied with the outcome
as in money back[outoff pocket expenses on top off finacial loss]

Thanks Cal, the fly in the ointment is they've threatened me with "Notice of Intention to Commence Legal Proceedings" i have 7days from the 12-12-12 so am now over there due date.

Pred has been starting work at 1100hrs Monday to Friday and finishing between the hrs of midnight and 0200hrs averaging 63hrs and paying the best part of £200 in taxes every week, if you check my post over the last 3-4 months you'll notice i have been absent during the week, there's only 24hrs in the day, if i leave work at 0200hrs and go home i got time to have a meal brush my teeth jump into bed and get 6hrs sleep if i'm lucky, then fall out of bed, sh1t, shower and shave have my breakfast and back in for 1100hrs, thats 9hrs between shifts, you should try it sometime chapeau!!

I am now off till the 2nd of January and in that time have some problems to resolve, this email being one of them and as i have stated, i am not the cleverest on the planet at this sort of thing hence looking for a bit of advice, thank you!!

The working time directive says if you work 13hrs in a row you should have a mininum of 11 hrs off,get your contract sorted.

a minimum daily rest period, of 11 consecutive hours in every 24

Thank you for you invoice and reminders.

The service carried out by your company was not what was required by me in spite of providing verbal instructions and as such I feel that the product was thus inappropriately sold.

I therefore wish to lodge a formal complaint against the sales representative and am withholding payment in light of this.

People would DIE if we took 9 hour breaks between shifts when I were a lad.

Thats about 6-7hrs driving, how many times can i reduce to 9hrs. then when i get in i'm usually waiting another 2hrs (POA) for my night shift oppo to come in, my digi is downloaded at the end of every shift and to date the only infringment was 4hrs 38mins before my break, i got held up on the M50 in road works on the way to Strensham.
