Hive Install with Danfoss Controllers

Yes, that all appears OK.
All that would remain to be done, would be the safe isolation of the cables to the existing stats.
Thanks very much. Just one query before I attempt this later this afternoon…

I’m going to have to link the Grey cables from the valves with the brown cables from the Hive Receivers? If so I’m going to struggle to fit four cables within that terminal block numbered ten. There is a link cable above from the top of the block on 10 to the top of terminal 15. Would I be able to link the brown cables in there instead?

As you said earlier,
the brown cable from Com on the thermostat being wired in to terminal 3
This is where you would connect the permanent live for the Hive receivers.
...and two of the existing brown wires can be removed, as part of isolating the existing stats wiring.

There should be no need to connect any wires to the grey zone valve wires - they should already have a permanent live supply - although looking closely at the wiring centre, I can't see any connections to the grey wires; were modifications made before the photo was taken?

Thanks for your help Grinch.

I’ve just realised I’ve put the greys in terminal 10 when they were originally in terminal 9 which carries the link to terminal 3 which will be the lives! Doh!!! This is why it wasn’t making sense to me!

I’ll rectify it later on when home and will add the browns from the thermostats to terminal 3. Will leave the redundant original cable in the wall correctly terminated.

Once again, thanks for all your help.
