I don't seem to get much.
BUT, playing with a new-to-me stock trading platform. I accidentally clicked the screen.
"Order executed", it said.
What?
Oh F***, what's it done?
It had bought the max possible number of some share I'd never heard of.
Immediately the "position" is negative, because of the buy/sell price difference.
"Minus £24"
"Minus £28"
"Minus £38"
Shiiit, should I just close it before the loss gets bigger????
"£128" , but in green with no minus. That's profit..
"£1460".
Never clicked a mouse so fast!
Gotta get lucky sometimes.

I think it was last month but last time the prize pool went up they also reduced the number of £25 and £50 prizes in favour of the £100k and £50k

Must admit the small ones keep me interested

Will results still be out tomorrow or monday for those who have PB's and won something?

Edit: looks like tomorrow.

£100 for me on a holding of about £5k, £50 for our son on a holding of about £3k, and nothing for the misses or daughter who both have under £1500

happy with that

I don't have any but this may give y'all food for thought:

Freedom of information requests to National Savings and Investments (NS&I) in 2021 and 2022 revealed that about three-quarters of all premium bond savers have never won a prize...the odds of winning with each £1 bond number have improved to 21,000-1 from the previous 22,000-1.

The actuarial consultancy OAC is broadly positive about the changes. It says that while the “rate of return” for the average premium bond saver has increased by 16% this month, the odds of winning a prize have only risen by 5%. It says this is because of a big shift from smaller £25 prizes to larger £50 and £100 ones.

“The odds on winning a £25 prize were 71,000-1 but have now risen to 118,000-1 – a decrease of 40% in probability. Contrastingly, the odds on [winning] £50 or £100 have jumped by 25%, moving from 32,000-1 to 26,000-1,” says Greig Bingham at the consultancy.
