I remember Gunsmoke too, but there was a western series in 1961 called Gunslinger.
Bronco Lane with Ty Hardin,, remember that one?? It all comes flooding back. I was a teenager then.

telly was limited to one channel on occasionaly between around 7 am to amout 11pm
then gradualy over around twenty years progressed to 5 chanels and more hours

so we watched what was on tv and enjoyed it
