Biden has lost patience with him. All that talk of a ceasefire in early Summer was nothing more than empty talk from Israel, who clearly intended the assault on H.bollah before they even took place. Biden needed the war to cease for a bump in the polls and now his Veep is losing momentum in the race to the WH. Reports say the IDF have special plans on several fronts to commemorate Oct. 7th.

They have more to gain from using the threat of producing one, the West have offered them concessions if they don't build a bomb.
If they do produce a bomb, then there will be no point in the West trying to do a deal with them.
Any bomb they build would probably be a crude low yield device compared to what the Americans and Israelis have.
Also they would become a legitimate target for nuclear retaliation, or even preemptive retaliation by Israel or the Americans.
Netanyahu has made a career out of telling the world that Iran was just on the brink of producing a nuclear bomb, he has been saying it for years.
Not so much as losing, as can't win.
