Ideal Boilers

Looking to get a new boiler this summer. Probs either a logic or vogue. At the moment leaning towards a vogue as the logics seem to of had a few issues recently. Also the boiler will be close to a wall on the right hand side when installed, so is there any need to have access to the right side panel of either these boilers for service or repair?

Both boilers are accessed from the front for maintenance, so you only need a few mm clearance at the side.

There are much better boilers out there, but if you must have an Ideal then the Vogue is definitely the one to go for.

It’s a mine field choosing a boiler. Every boiler has its promoters and detractors, what one person says is great another says is terrible!

I'd say the Vokera Pinnacle 35C knocks the socks off a Vogue and definitely meets your budget

Vokéra like many other and marmite will have lovers and haters, similar to Ideal. They (Vokéra) are supposed to be good @vulcancontinental might be able to convince you of this. Tbh I haven’t seen one in the flesh so unable to comment much more than this.

Very good build quality, better modulation (so more efficient in real world conditions), better heat exchanger, excellent OpenTherm implementation. It's what I'd put in my house if I needed a new boiler.
