the point being that the BNP are not to be taken seriously like the Raving loonies they are, unless of course their race hatred causes others so minded to start to listen to their rantings then they need to be controlled.

I would have to agree with you there, but as they say, hindsight is always 20:20. I guess at the time it seemed like a good idea, but why on Earth did no-one stop them once they started what they have been doing for a long while now?

I would say that Richard highlights an important problem here. Richard has demonstrated that there are some people who have the belief that to say anything against the concept of free-for-all immigration is racist and bigoted.

Monster raving loony party was/is? a party which people voted for as a protest against the other parties. Its a no vote if you like.
You again both fail to put forward anything positive though on the subject. We all agree Howard is a to**er but at least he is putting forward genuine debate on the subject. Why are you both so concerned about open debate on this? It isn't about racism it is just common sense, we don't have the infrastructure for more people at this time.

I have nothing against controlled immigration --- but I am fearful of the Ghettos which abound and the implications of that..
Tis no good coming to live here and not wanting to embrace our way of life .. look at the numbers of disaffected youth ... lost, between their home and family expectations and the demands of their peers on the street.
I have been around for a while, knowing certain areas of Bristol where things are worse than than they ever were, so who stands to gain out of all this ?
I wish someone could explain to me, all the talk of richness in multi-culture who for ? Just a dream 24 hr boozing is the mantra not being concerned with foreign culture, as they are mainly unconcerned with our own.
Look around the world .. Singapore was raised from 3rd to 1st world by immigrants, but they had to toe the line .. now they have a safe society, which most of their people are happy to live within .... Now Lee Kuan Yew. Singaporean politician, founded the anticommunist Socialist People’s Action Party ... he was the MAN to see off terrorists, tough but uncompromising.
