If your vote made any difference they wouldn't let you do it.

Western democratic societies = Rich, peacefull, mostly employed, housed, educated and access to healthcare

Non democratic societies = Huge wealth inequality, poor housing, healthcare, often wartorn and unstable.

People like you are sore because your vote does matter, but only so much as the next persons, but your self inflated ego and sense of self importance can't stand that.

If Labour get in, so be it. The sooner they finish the job of destroying the economy the sooner we get to use them as lamp post ornaments.
They destroyed the economy last time but a lot of people seem to have forgotten that. They'll have a good head start this time though. Last time they started with a strong economy, this time they'll be starting with a much weaker one still struggling to recover. Merkel and Hollande must be rubbing their hands with sheer joy at the thought of Balls and Milliband heading over with the cheque book.

Does that invalidate my statement?

The system is engineered to maintain the status quo.

:?:
Hardly a self-inflated ego to realise you don't matter.

Are you discounting my views as well?

The system is engineered to maintain the status quo.

Let’s take labours recent reign.

Minimum wage, labour laws, immigration changes, discrimination laws (as well as the other several thousand laws), putting aside any discussion of the benifits or not of these changes, they are changes.

Now the Coalition.

Public sector wage freezes, increase in tuition fees, VAT, reduction in personal taxes, changes to adoption laws, changes to local planning laws.

So lots of changes, but because they didn’t turn the UK into the land of milk and honey you cry ‘status quo’.

Blablablabla

Define someone "fully established"?

And why would this "fully established" person not want to vote labour?
Mebbe its because he/she has a brain.

Ok - from tomorrow, then - for starters:

There are no tax havens, let alone British ones.
The wealthy stop getting hugely wealthier.
The gap between rich and poor starts reducing.
The Head of State is no longer determined by accident.
Privilege is abolished.
The second House is democratically chosen.
The Government puts the people first.
Politicians are forbidden to lie and the truth is told.
MPs are not forbidden to call other MPs liars.
The whip system is abolished.
The Church is disestablished and other religious nonsense discounted.
The media is free and intelligent.

The second House is democratically chosen.

That'll never happen EFL and well you know. Labour allowed one of the most corrupt politicians back in through the back door ( I bet he loved that) . Caught up in no less than two scandals and resigning both times. Do you know who I'm on about? Did we get a say on Mandelson coming back into the last Labour government? Did we f**k as like.

Vote, Vote, Vote for Nigel Barton ! You may as well have done. !!

You know MP's are MP's for the UK and not the world, right?

'Waves magic wand'

The second House is democratically chosen.

Idiot.

The whole point of a second house not being elected, is that it can make decisions without being influenced by popularity, some reform may be needed, but it is fine for these people to be chosen by elected representatives, and not elected for directly.

Basically you don't understand the system, don't like the results and expect it to be able to 'wave magic wand' problems away.

Childish claptrap.

I apologise for having different views than you.

I thought it was allowed. I now know better.

So much for the pollsters, pundits, professors and political smart arrs** who have repeatedly told us that nobody would get an overall majority.
That they actually believe what people tell them is true, when conducting their polls, shows how gullible they are.
Apart from that the system stinks, SNP get 4% of vote and get 56 seats UKIP 13% 1 seat, Lib Dems 8% and 8 seats.
Roll on PR.

Said it before - wouldn't pay those 'experts' in co-op milk checks.
A worker in manufacturing has to produce the goods - the rubbish which makes a living producing crap information, keeps his / her job and probably receives more pay this year than last ! After all we are / have been daft enough to pay a fat bloke sitting on burnt rubber £1m per annum for making us laugh about 12 times a year !
