Improving water pressure on a private water supply??

Ironically, Balenza, YOU are the person that should be reading the material on the 'accumulators' web site.

Is there a website we can refer you to where it advises to keep your mouth shut and your bowels open about things you know nothing about?

You stick to conning your customers .
On the accumulator thread it didnt even occur to you to mention checking pipesizes first. No, in true yee haa cowboy style you just bang in an accumulator.
How many people has you company conned ?.
How much do you charge for an accumulator installation ?

I'm sorry for causing great arguments. :( :(

What I'm doing is creating a CAD sketch of my system, with all the sizes of the pipe works, etc.

I was hoping to do that at the weekend, but got tied up ripping the bathroom to pieces!

I've heard of installing an accumulator into the system from someone before.
I was talking to my uncle at the weekend and he used to have VERY poor water supply, even though he was on the mains. If he lifted the hose above his head, for example, whilst outside, the water would stop flowing. Since then, he's had a floor added to his house (was a flat-roofed single storey) and has had a pump installed. I'll be heading to his house to check out what he has got as he has great hot water pressure too. Not being a very technical person, his descriptions over the phone wasn't very good, so I'll have a look myself!

Many thanks for the replies firstly, but will put up a sketch this week. :)

Rob.

The important one is the pipesize from the pump to your property and roughly the distance it runs over !.
Surely you must know that ?.

Hey, not much use Doitall, you cant install them without GAH,s permission.
You may as well take them to the scrap yard. Its a good price at the moment. ;)

Loks like their destined for the scrap merchants after all. :(
