Thats a difficult word to define and is capable of several different interpretations.

I have no interest in racism as I dont see it as any problem ( except apparently to Softus ).

As far as Americans are concerned, I think that I am correct that there were more Americans and Canadians killed in the second World War than British. If the USA had not joined the Brits then I dont see that we would have been able to hold out after the rest of Europe had fallen to the
Germans.

I've explained why I broke my vow of silence, and it is indeed because I have a problem with racism. If you don't then shame on you. It isn't a difficult word to define, but it suits all racists to claim that it is. I strongly suspect that you are one.

Some people posted within the spirit of the topic - most such posts were really quite amusing, and certainly good-natured. Your own first post on the topic was stiff, boring by comparison, with the single pitiful motive of poking humourless fun at me because you thought I wouldn't reply.

You are, very clearly, a despicable coward.

You say that you have no problem with racism, and yet the rate of racially-motivated crime is rising, accompanied often enough by a such manner of violence that most adults are horrified by the fact. You might be a member of the IPHE, but you're a poor citizen if you care more about your personal professionalism than the general well-being and longevity of our society.

I believe I'm right that in America the Marines are part of the US army, whereas in the UK, they are of course sensibly part of the Royal Navy.

I haven't checked on google, so I'm perfectly willing to be corrected again.
