Incorrect statement amnesty

Softus, apart from defying his own ban on replying seems to have some problem with "racism".

Thats a difficult word to define and is capable of several different interpretations.

I have no interest in racism as I dont see it as any problem ( except apparently to Softus ).

As far as Americans are concerned, I think that I am correct that there were more Americans and Canadians killed in the second World War than British. If the USA had not joined the Brits then I dont see that we would have been able to hold out after the rest of Europe had fallen to the
Germans.

Aww. BG seems to have taken this all very seriously.

It's the web - you're allowed to hate people and vent vitriol. In fact it's positively encouraged. At least on the General Chat pages.

Racism? **** off with that rubbish.

As long as we're agreed that we now hate the Yanks more than the French
;)

As you were anyway.

PS I think Nylon had UK and US scientists working on it.

And from thence on?? Remember, America's military might was comparitively puny back in WW2 days.

I've explained why I broke my vow of silence, and it is indeed because I have a problem with racism. If you don't then shame on you. It isn't a difficult word to define, but it suits all racists to claim that it is. I strongly suspect that you are one.

Some people posted within the spirit of the topic - most such posts were really quite amusing, and certainly good-natured. Your own first post on the topic was stiff, boring by comparison, with the single pitiful motive of poking humourless fun at me because you thought I wouldn't reply.

You are, very clearly, a despicable coward.

You say that you have no problem with racism, and yet the rate of racially-motivated crime is rising, accompanied often enough by a such manner of violence that most adults are horrified by the fact. You might be a member of the IPHE, but you're a poor citizen if you care more about your personal professionalism than the general well-being and longevity of our society.

And then you say "shame on you" in reply to a post you didn't like?

Do you think you will ever grasp the fact that your country's breathtaking hypocrisy is one of the things which make it so widely reviled?

At least I`ll be able to take home precious memories of my time here...cr*p `pubs` `cr*p food, ugly women, most of them desperate even the `married ` ones. & Gutless windbags whom I vomited over on the WWWEB....Happy days

I believe I'm right that in America the Marines are part of the US army, whereas in the UK, they are of course sensibly part of the Royal Navy.

I haven't checked on google, so I'm perfectly willing to be corrected again.

I dont think I want to be over here anymore....can I trade with someone?

Over where here (UK) or here US, you're always welcome here :D

If you wanna trade, I think Bamber Gaspipe would be willing to swap, I don't think he likes it here much :(

Did anyone mention the fact that some of the dafter ones (Americans) don't have a sense of humour. Sad, especially for the less daft ones who do.
