Insurance fraud?

Looks like I need to ask you the same question as Mr. Bloomfield then... which EVs have you driven recently, and in what respect did you find them wanting in terms of refinement or luxury?

Just a minute, you said they were 'luxurious', perhaps your idea of luxury, is at odds with some of the rest of us?

Been in my friend's Tesla. A piece of junk with plastic from milk bottles everywhere. Seat uncomfortable and that touchscreen distracting the driver for everything they need to operate. A piece of junk.
My mum's Peugeot 104 was better.

Ah... OK, so based on your comprehensive sample of...er... "one" you've had a ride in your mate's car and I can see you've evaluated it dispassionately and objectively, free of any possible bias... ;) Well, each to their own. Plenty of 104s for you to choose from! Enjoy...;) Might be a bit dull after the A6, but hey... your choice...!:ROFLMAO:

Sure, with batteries lasting 20 miles...

Awwwww.... diddums... So after getting called out on the EVs not lasting 10 yers, you'er now going to tell me that 10 year old EVs have an average range of 20 miles? You know what? I'm going to laugh at that claim too...:ROFLMAO:

I drive a scrap now thanks to the emperor's ULEZ scam.
I used to drive an A6 LeMans, full optional at factory.

That's nice... Like an S Line but with some more badges and different rims? Not very quick though. About the same time to 60 as my 35 year old Italian car. I guess your mate with the Tesla could stop for a quick charge while he waits for you to get to 60?;)

As good as new after 14 years on the road.

It really won't be. Good, well-built cars but I think some of you anti-EV boys forget that pretty much all of us EV drivers have been driving ICEs all our lives. It really won't be "good as new"... Our chairman drives an S7. He's very fond of it.

They're for sale, that'snot the market value. Besides, for cars costing as much as a house, that'sa massive loss for the owner after 10 years. And some fools will buy them to do 20 miles to full charge :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Oh I think they'll manage a bit more than that... Still... at least a 10 year old A6 will be worth loads more than a 10 year old Tesla...

Oh... wait... apparently not...;)

Save???
Do you really think electricity is free?
I won't be surprised if a full charge on those 2 ton elephants is as expensive as a full tank of fuel (for less than half the mileage)

Always good to see someone argue from a position of well-researched knowledge...:ROFLMAO:

(I get about 250 miles in this weather, for £6. I can double it to 12 if it makes you feel better, to give me 500 miles for £12. Although I'm sure you'd claim your Audi would do 750 miles on a tankful, so hey, what the hell, I don't mind admitting I'd have to spend £18 to get that far...:ROFLMAO:)

2000, 24 years ago.
There's their prediction going horizontal towards a toasting planet: pure fiction.

Seems to be coming along quite nicely? Are you going to try and persuade me it's got cooler since 2000? Or even stayed the same? (I shall look forward to that...);)

Where?
The beaches are still where they were 50 years ago.

Bit smaller, or the most part, though.

Islands that were supposed to disappear have not disappeared.
Villages on our coasts are still there, not under water.

No, there hasn't been any increase in coastal flooding, has there?

Are you sure you're not confused with coastal erosion?
That's a totally different thing.

No, I think you forget, I've got quite a lot of scientists on my side... (real ones, not social media ones...)

I don't know. I'm still waiting for you to tell me what you regard as "luxurious"? You seem strangely reluctant to answer that question too though...;) I take it that Rolls Spectre was a bit shabby for you?

You claimed the description of luxury EV, I simply invited you to describe what you thought might be luxurious about your electric milk float?

EV do seem to be a new religion, alongside claiming to be green.

The levels of refinement, NVH, etc. Any the wiser?

...thought not... ;)

Well, not sure about a "religion", but whatever deity you fancy... fill yer boots...

Claiming to be green? Yup. Still waiting for you to prove me wrong...:)

In another thread I recounted the time I raced my friend with the Tesla.
He's still crying about the false claim of 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds.
My slow A6 only did it in 4.5 sec and despite that the Tesla was a small dot in the rear view mirror.

Boll@x, not in a million years.
Unless you get out of the car and push it.
You're talking shyt

Name one single prediction that it actually became reality.
None.
Not even one.
Tumble weeds...

Only a region, would be supported with such fervour, by the converted. Do you have any idea just how many postings, and how much time you have devoted in this thread, trying to convince several of us, that your religion is the 'only true way'?

Cool story bro... I believe you... every word... :ROFLMAO:

Are you related to Nutjob, by any chance? He's a great one for telling people who actually know a lot more than he does about something, that they're wrong...:ROFLMAO:.

You do realise that nobody believes you, don't you? You can do the whole "denial" thing as much as you like, but it's happening. Too many people who actually know their bottoms from their elbows disagree with you...

I mean, spit your dummy out and chuck all the toys out of the pram if it makes you feel better. Stamp your wee foot and seethe with impotent rage if you like, but this is all happening whether you like it or not...

About the same amount as you've devoted to trying to convince several of us that yours is? ;)

The only real difference, is that I can provide evidence...

Just one.
I keep watching the tumble weeds...

Prove me wrong then.
Take a video of your plastic battery on wheels doing 0-60mph.
I can guarantee you that it won't be any faster than 5 seconds.

Nope, count your posts... I've dipped in very occasionally, in a spare moment with you, it is an obsession.

If EV's are that good, then they will sell themselves, sliced bread does..

Exactly!
How come we didn't need any pressure to embrace the new technology of smartphones and instead we're being forced into buying these plastic boxes on wheels powered by some super polluting batteries????
How come there's so much pressure to sell these fantastic cars that can go faster than a rocket, save the planet, save us money and make our life more comfortable?
Are we all stuck in the past and refusing progress?
How many black and white tvs are still being watched?
I tell you how I see it, with help from my friend who got conned into leasing a Tesla:
All the fools who got conned into owning/leasing an EV cannot admit that they've been taken for a ride.
Their ego refuses to say "yes, we've been conned, admit it and move on".
It's a mental condition of being unable to say "I was wrong".

I am arguing against a religion, and it is well known that people with a religion, will not be turned by facts..
Why is it that the only fundamentalist fanatics I see are the ICEV fundamentalist anti-EV fanatics, and so fanatically biased and corroded by hate that they lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie?
