Don't remember where I read that repair shops where refusing to fix ev for fear of being sued if they hadn't spotted damage that then resulted in fire.
And as a consequence insurance companies charge more...
Unless we get some politicians with balls who give 2 fingers to the green scam, I'm going around in scraps worth less than my shoes.
So if they get up one day and say I need to change car, I won't be heartbroken like when the midget stole my 2 babies...

I don't enjoy it, in fact, I miss my real "luxury" cars.
But I have no choice because the scambag politicians have classed me as the destroyer of the planet.
3000 miles/year in cars that never failed to pass emission tests at mot.
Instead, to save the planet they want me to join the millions leasing ev and changing them every 3 years.
I kept my cars never less than 10 years.
Figure that out.

It amuses me when I mot test somebody's baby and fail it or give it a long list of advisories.

I always get told it's never been a problem before.

Theres an awful lot of cars that scrape through an mot but shouldn't really be on the road. Most fall into the "it's better than any new car" (ev or ice)

The problem you have there is that the politicians who believe in the "green scam" theory are fringe loonies, just like their voters.

And just like their voters they make a lot of noise.

And just like their voters they will accomplish nothing by it.
