Yeah it's always amazed me why people get upset when threads in GD go off topic, that's what happens in group discussions, people are always changing the subject. It was always a good one for winding up imamartian though, had him nearly crying some nights

Those inclined to abuse children will use any profession or become religious priests so as to get close to children and abuse them, religion or churches are secondary to their objective, there are men who deliberately choose a teachers carrier so as to be close to children so that they could more easily abuse them, it is not teachers turning child abusers.

But,, If there's no God, then he can't possibly be insulted, can he ?

You can't prove his existence, the same that us non believers can't prove his non existence. What we can do however, is agree to disagree.
I wonder if sometime in the future, aliens are going to land on this planet? I bet one of the first questions they are going to be asked, is "Do you believe in God"?
