Sorry to not of pit this to bed yet. BUT.... CANT i use an extractor?

Would that not work? Look at the picture, see the centre, is that big enuf if i drill into that? Or drill wider ? ( Obvs il work my way up)

Suffice to say......if you can centre punch the metal then there's a good chance you can drill it. A professional extractor such as the Pickavant spline type could work, those tapered ones are useless.
By increasing the drill size, the head will disappear and you'll be able to get the wheel off.

With the welding option, and yes I know this being long resolved, is there a danger of the alloy itself setting light and two with the heat is there a danger of the air in the tyre expanding enough to burst it, one of those going off in your face would ruin the day
