Israel uses starvation as a weapon of war, say Israeli sources.

There's nothing Israel likes better than exterminating people who are not Jewish.
Of course this is made up lies intended to stir hatred towards Israel and Jews.

There is no evidence that Israel likes nothing better than killing non Jews. There is no evidence that there is a plan to use starvation as a weapon of war.

Why would someone spread lies like this. Is it to stir hatred?

And still he pretends the laws aren’t there.

He has the links, he reads the definition, the offences are clear. But JohnD pretends they don’t exist. I’ve linked to them countless times.
It is not the links that are the importance, it is your misinterpretation of them.

Wrong. The so called General Plan which is rather blunt about it. Called that as a General came up with it. Much discussed and the reason for Blinken's letter and a security council meeting.

The iintent was to use on the entire N of the Gaza strip past the corridor that Israel created.

You can see how misleading it is to say “according to Israeli sources” when the sources you refer to are neither the government nor anyone representing them.

It's a simple statement.
No "edge" or implied meanings at all.

If it had said "official Israeli sources" or some such, I would have some sympathy for your claim.

But it doesn't.
And I don't.

Do we know who the sources are ? No, so it’s just a random claim.

Unless we know the sources.

I think the reason you publish lies pretending there is a law forbidding criticism of a political movement, is that you hope to stifle mention of Israel's racism, apartheid and genocide.

Not working, is it.

Israel uses starvation as a weapon of war, say Israeli sources.

" James Shotter in Jerusalem, Neri Zilber in Tel Aviv and Malaika Kanaaneh Tapper in London OCTOBER 15 2024

Israel appears to be starting to implement a controversial plan to force Hamas into submission by laying siege to the north of Gaza and starving those who remain, Israeli human rights groups have warned.

The so-called Generals’ Plan, created by former national security adviser Giora Eiland, calls for Israel to order civilians to leave north Gaza for other areas of the enclave, and then declare the north a closed military zone.

Those who did not leave would be considered military targets, and totally cut off from supplies of food, water and medicines.

Eiland said the plan — which he presented to parliament’s defence committee last month — was designed to ratchet up pressure on Hamas to release the 101 Israeli hostages that the Palestinian militant group still holds in Gaza. But human rights groups say it would trap civilians, and that carrying out the plan would breach international law."

"According to two people with knowledge of internal Israeli deliberations, senior Israeli security officials are unwilling to officially approve the plan, with some considering parts of it to be violations of international law.But Israeli media reported last month that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had told MPs he was considering the scheme. On Monday, four human rights groups — Gisha, B’Tselem, PHR-I and Yesh Din — said there were “alarming signs” that Israel was “quietly” starting to implement it, and called on the international community to stop it. The Israeli prime minister’s office declined to comment."

"The stated objective of this operation is to destroy regrouped Palestinian resistance forces in the north. However, observers have noted that this new assault may be the first stage of what Israeli media has dubbed the “General’s Plan” of ethnically cleansing northern Gaza as a form of collective punishment of Palestinians.

The plan was put forward by retired General Giora Eiland and calls for the expulsion of Palestinians from the area and the forced starvation and targeting of whoever stays behind – to be deemed “legitimate military targets”. At a session of the Knesset Foreign Affairs Defence Committee in September, Eiland reportedly said: “What matters to [Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar is land and dignity, and with this manoeuvre, you take away both land and dignity.”

Since Israel began a renewed military offensive in northern Gaza 12 days ago, humanitarian groups say that virtually no aid has entered the area. Israel's own statistics show that aid deliveries to Gaza as a whole have collapsed when compared with the same period in September.

This has prompted accusations that the Israeli military is blocking food aid deliveries in a bid to starve out Hamas fighters.

The lack of food has prompted a top UN official to warn that "supplies for survival are running out" in north Gaza, with civilians on the ground telling the BBC that the situation is unsustainable.

Joyce Msuya, the UN's Acting Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief, said on Monday that Israel blocked all food aid entering northern Gaza from 2-15 October."
