So the protest was about 60 people being deported, not simply one convicted rapist?
Please get your facts right.
The fact that a convicted rapist was on board was coincidental.
In addition, he had been suffering mental health issues, and had responded well to treatment. If he had been deported he would not have had such treatment and would probably have gone on to rob and rape other victims, eventually probably being killed by stoning. As it was, he was kept in secure conditions and continued treatment.
Which do you think was the preferred outcome?
