Here's an idea...
Back in the days when I used to go out a fair bit there was a thing called a 'group of friends'.
At the end of an evening no-one was allowed to go home alone, even when not p*ssed.
But if circumstances made that impossible there was always a whip round for a cab.
This applied to both females and males!
And it didn't matter whether the area was perceived as 'dodgy' or not...
A bit of info handed down/drummed in to our kids, and as far as we know they follow that 'code'...
Not always practical, for obvious reasons, but noble all the same.
People are waving their arms about as if this is something new and a sudden attack on men. Rape alarms, handbag sized pepper spray, tasers etc have been around for a while, to help protect lone females. I'm not sure how you would protect a lone female from a well trained and determined rozzer though.

For a second there you had me thinking this was a thread about lefty women oppressing men and blaming the entire police force, men and anything with a beard and bollax.

I dont, I think extreme right wing must have a massive part. Not necessary with what happened in Clapham, but other protests to do with race.

I recall a case a few years ago in Jersey, hundreds of sex abuse cases in a care home, covered up by UK government appointed officials. One elected politician was sacked for trying to expose the scandal, and still suffers for it even now.I recall a few girls getting attacked a while back (Well a few girls in many many cities). Young girls. Young vulnerable girls often in care who should have been protected. By old blokes. Groups of old blokes. Objectification was not even a big enough word for it.
Truly horrific it was.
I don't recall thousands, hundreds or even tens of women on the streets in "support" though.

Eight people have been prosecuted for 145 offences and seven men and women have been convicted. Many more alleged offenders, some now dead, have been identified by almost 200 former residents. Police have recorded more than 500 alleged offences.

The Jersey scandal wasn't inflicted on children by left wing people. It was inflicted on children, and covered up by right wing politicians and officials.
