And where the evidence leads.

I wouldn't expect you to say anything less.

Or maybe, as per the evidence, he knew nothing about it.
An official investigation commissioned later by Starmer criticised both prosecutors and police for their handling of the allegations
It’s all a bit one sided isn’t it.

There’s no way to prove he knew or don’t know.

I’ll just say, he wasn’t very good at his job if he didn’t know.

Common sense says he knew….

Do you think he looked at every case? You do realise what other big cases were going on at the same time don't you?

I appreciate the above, but a massive TV celebrity case, a celebrity who we all looked up to as children. You’ll say you didn’t, obviously.

If he “missed” that he shouldn’t have had the job!

We can go around and around. But my opinion is he knew. End of

Almost like he isn't a Tory, you mean?
Weird carmen liking a post you’ve quoted me in.

No, for the record I meant, and still mean, Starmer knew.

I’m allowed an opinion, and that’s mine.

One has to wonder though, as head of the CPS and with a case as large, important and in the media spot light.

What was more important? He obviously had something very, very pressing to deal with!

It’s almost like he hid away from it.
Was it in the spotlight? Was it large?

No to both. I don't think it was even publicised before his death. The police did a crap job gathering evidence and getting victims to testify and the CPS didn't think it was something worth following up on.

It's almost as if grooming victims weren't taken seriously and at risk victims were viewed by the police as willing participants

And the CPS turned a blind eye to it.
They did. But when you say the CPS did, it was one lawyer acting as the CPS. There may have been a review of dropping the case from his immediate peers, but the CPS drops lots of cases and unless someone pushed back there is no reason to expect it to go any higher up the chain.

Expecting Starmer to be aware of this at the time is ridiculous.

The report also found that the CPS had "no record at all" of the case, the file having been "destroyed"- source wiki

That’s a tad suspicious, don’t you think ?

I do, it think it’s part of a cover up.

It was a failure of the police not the CPS

It would help you if you researched the difference between the police and the CPS.
