I take your point, but what is the point of half heartedly negotiating a crap deal (because what incentive do the EU have for offering anything different to what they already have) and then putting it to the people?

If you want a deal, set your stall out to get one and fight tooth and nail to get the best deal you can (as i believe Boris is doing). If you want to remain, be honest about it in the same way the lib dems have and put your policies to the test in an election.

His bluster at trying to push through a no deal is all for the UK parliament -he is just playing blackmail.

So far he hasnt got a mm further than Theresa May.

His games in the commons now means any hope of a cross party agreement to vote through and deal he might get (which will be a Theresa May deal) wont happen.
The opposition wont vote for any deal he comes up with now.
