Use a Smart lock that can unlock itself when it detects the bin vehicle has arrived.

The bin vehicle has a GPS tracker so the depot know where it is. The Smart lock just has to detect the tracker signal or the depot can send unlocking signals to bins that are close to the vehicle's reported location,

Or some similar over engineered method.

We have the technology so let us use it.

I've been thinking of this as well. It's trying to kero it cheap so others will follow the revolution.

Not everyone has someone.
Not everyone is well enough.
I know your right.

my 10 weeks in hospital these last few years I see these people who had to go home to empty houses and look after themselves. I'd be in tears thinking about it as my network has looked after me very well.

All my elderly neighbours know I'm there for them. Ellen next door I would do her bins in the morning.

The other week I was pumping up the young Romanian girls tyres as her parents have popped back to Romania .

We all need to be there for our neighbours and do our bit.

What I don't get is people walk onto your property to dump their shoite
Don't you lock your bins away?

The bin is on the edge of the property on bin day.

Everything you do in life is correct and to the tee of personal responsibility?
I have never:

Knowingly dropped litter.
Parked on the pavement.
Parked opposite another vehicle.
Driven or owned an Audi, BMW or Mercedes car. ;)

I have always strived to do the right thing in my life for myself, my family and others and will continue to do so.

I will never criticise you. I wish more people were like you. I will always strive to be like you with respect for others rather than think fúck it everyone else don't give a shìt so why should I.

I parked my little sports car on the pavement for a week when I lived in my flat. (I also had a van)

on the Friday I come out to find a fine stuck on my window from the police.
I thought to myself that I deserved that. And it took that to educate me about being considerate towards others.

Now I go round there most of the pavement is full of cars parked blocking wheel chair users and the hard of walking.

Blimey, you sound like you’re well on the mend!

I am now very much on the mend
but that morning my brother was driving me to the Royal Free there and then.

Poor girl was late for work.

I have a 12 volt Milwaukee pump er upper. But still it was exhausting for me.

I'd hope someone would help my little girls if needed.

Was it the wrong bin?, our green bins are for general waste including dog waste .

We have bags for our general rubbish and recycled stuff. Green bins are for garden waste. They've gone up to £70 a year from tomorrow so ours, and many of our neighbours, are going back. I’ll be taking my green waste over my allotment and composting it from now on. The local council composts our green waste and sells it on but they have served themselves up a double whammy and shot themselves in the foot over this, the money grabbing ****s!
