View attachment 122832 Most installers would install a magnetic filter but  has invented his own device to collect system debris in the dead ends

Hadn't thought of that, I could fit isolation valves at the ends of the stubs to allow the debris to be removed. Would these stubs be as efficient at collecting debris as a magnetic filter in the return to the boiler wpuld be.

Trained chimps ( like many trained people ) do not think and do what they have been trained to do on the way they were trained to do it. Thinking about doing thing differently is discouraged if not banned outright.

Old Camberwickgreen would be better putting 6M of 8mm copper tube in a combination cylinder & defying the Laws of Physics with his hot water supply, the man's a f.cking genius!!

In the thread shaky1105 I said:
The calculated external surface area of the mains fed coil is 160,000 mm² and this was achieved by forming the coil with 6.5 metres of 8 mm diameter pipe.

Poor FullerGas has got his threads tangled up.

That and his short term memory (I'm amazed old Camberwickgreen didn't torch the gaff when he moved his own Gas meter!! corrected here makes one wonder about his ability to carry out gas related work

so you have managed to take a 4 port manifold and blank two of them off ????? think I was
about 10 stone lighter when I worked that one out

Why not just carry on the two pipe? I can't see any reason why you couldn't have fitted tees
