US markets seem to have received the news well. All the Trump favoured stocks that I hold have jumped.

don't recall the FTSE reacting to Labour in the same way.

It was down 0.5% the day after the general election. A damning indictment of the Labour win.

Or just the general fluctations of an index, it’s difficult to decide.
