Looks like Starmer

Which neighbouring countries did you have in mind boyo ?

69%

hosted in neighbouring countries

69 per cent of refugees and other people in need of international protection lived in countries neighbouring their countries of origin.

Suck it up, loser.

32%

hosted in five countries

Colombia, Germany, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Türkiye and Uganda hosted almost one-third of the world’s refugees and other people in need of international protection.
Islamic Republic of Iran3.8 million
Türkiye3.1 million
Colombia2.8 million
Germany2.7 million
Uganda1.7 million

Don't even bother looking for the UK boyo, it's way down the list.

"Theyre all coming here" I hear the bullshítting RWR whinge.
Most ( all ?) do if they have the choice
Utter RWR bollax, as per.

Meanwhile nearly 5800 people came via small boats this year. The highest number on record. Higher than 2024, 2023 and @Notch7 ’s favourite year 2022.

The latest figure for 22 March compared to 4,306 by the same date in 2024, and 3,683 in 2023. While in 2022, 3,836 had crossed.

1,452 in the last week!

Not looking good.

There's an idea, put up some signs informing them of the law and......problem solved.
Good idea, or stop them crossing, pick them up and instead of bringing them this way take them back to France

We need to play our part in dealing with a worldwide problem. Sticking our heads in the sand won't make it go away.

Or we could get a sign that says " this way to the UK, as most of you dont want to come here turn back now"

How full can we get? When do we stop?

Have we done enough now? And if not when?

The ones that come here obviously want to. The fact remains that most go elsewhere.

'biking should be doing his bit by patrolling the Channel, instead of floating about in 'tSolent quaffing oysters.

I'm not saying its a UK only problem but at some point it has to stop...doesn't it?

off-shore processing has its merits. Making it easer to claim, will just increase the numbers. We already have a 35% increase under Labour this year. Deterring people from paying traffickers was a good plan.
