You appear to not have worked on a social housing contract, if you had you may have some kind of idea what is going on.

Yes I have a very good idea: you've seen a few feckless people and assume they are all like it.

You obviously don't realise there are lots of people suffering in work poverty.

Then there are women suffering the after effects of domestic violence.
War veterans suffering PTSD
Lots of other people suffering mental health issues
Disabled people who have lost money due to PIP assessments.

A woman in my twitter feed has a son, she is suffering PTSD from DV. She sometimes tweets she has had nothing to eat all day. People offer her money by private messaging her - she refuses to take it, it's a matter of pride.

Please do your research, there really are people going hungry in this country.

Hold on, you pooh-pooh posters for giving examples then.....
you yourself give examples.

Why are your examples any more merit - worthy than anyone else's?

ok let’s get this into some perspective, on one contract in Leeds i was visiting around 50 properties a week, so around 2500 a year, this was for 3 years so maybe around 7500 , to be fair I would visit the same place twice, so conservative estimates would be around 6000 homes but you think I have only seen a few feckless cases , give your head a shake (and a real good one) because you are talking ****** again.

If you can't feed your kids you should not have them. It's not the state's responsibility.

Some parents may suffer illness, unemployment or marital breakdown.

You'll agree that the children of such families deserve to suffer, won't you?

And some people, of course, are morally irresponsible and leave a trail of discarded offspring behind them.

Can you imagine the sort of man who, after abandoning a number of previous women and children, leaves his wife and family to live with his pregnant mistress, and gets another girlfriend pregnant at the same time?

And they have not got 50p for their kids dinner for five days? If they suffer it's because of their parents inadequacy and incompetence to provide for them.

Parents probably got a nice pair of Nikes on their feet though, and Sky Sports subscription to watch their hero play and bump up his packet.

If you have kids they come first, and they are your responsibility

That's the problem with today's mindset of "its someone else's job to look after me and my family". Well it ain't.

yes, there are certainly people who are mentally ill or socially inadequate.

Have you met any of the large proportion of down-and-outs who joined the Forces straight from school and, when coming out, found they did not have the skills and experience to cope with civillian life? They often spiral down into drink and drugs.

in too many cases they quit this life.

As you say, their children need to be punished and treated harshly, for the shortcomings of the parent.

surely Boris supports his offspring financially?
The green monster within Johnd raises it’s ugly head yet again.

Is it free to 'Twitter’ then or are there some costs involved such as a mobile phone/pc/laptop along with a phone contract or internet broadband plan?

Boris is not the only moral bankrupt who abandons his children. Many of the others are not multi-millionaires.

Did Woody tell us that the children of such parents deserve to live in poverty and hunger?

"not my responsibility" says Woody as he passes by on the other side.

(see Luke 10.31 if you care about that sort of thing)
