Notchy...If you are a retired builder you have spent your days working with people with plenty dosh...How the hell did you become a poverty/scratter/benefit scrounger expert...I on the other hand have plenty scrounger relatives and spent my working life visiting scratters with 50inch tv and a car..

and you think that because a few people you know are feckless and lazy, there is no hunger or poverty in this country?

And actually I know a fair bit about it because I have a brother in law who has a senior position in the salvation army who travels the country.
The salvation army get involved in projects with poverty, hunger, slavery, human trafficking, enforced prostitution.

I also know volunteers who work at shelter and volunteers for domestic violence

and food poverty is very much real in this country -including people who are in work.
