Going for a bike ride in the morning..... Good advice.
I think even he thought I was nuts with the meet in the park thing. ....

People are ultimately responsible for their own happiness and how they deal with the bad stuff. Sure, be a good friend, which is great but that only goes so far. Having a pint and a good chinwag can really perk someone up but when they go home and close the door, that good feeling can go.

We can only do our bit....Thats now limited what we can do...

Maajid Nawaz. Was talking today about how a total shut down would course alot of depression.

He's very balanced
He also compared the 1930s recession with WW2
About how Boris has to juggle recession, depression, Virus.... with possible history repeating its self.

It's bound to create depression, some people don't have family, health, wealth to ride it out and a job gives them purpose. One thing I'm taking comfort in though is that we are all in this together.

The couple of times all this has got me down, I have taken comfort in that we are in this together.

Most of the stuff I am ok with - apart from the daily death count. I get really sad when I think of those poor souls and their families.

Yeah it's easy to fall into the trap of 'why do these things just happen to me' or 'if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all' but we really are all in it together, even our leaders.

Greif can be a terrable burden it dulls but never really go's away

Then there is the Greif that I have really never understood

The mass Greif that was displayed by thousands of people over this Diana death

The wailing in the street by thousands

Never have understood it tbh

Respect is one thing but the mass hysteria that was displayed
Jeez us

Well that was a disaster. He tries to help by getting my bike out the gate. I say to him you can't do this you need to be 2m from me and not touch. I don't care about myself he said...... I said you been watching the news... No..... Then you need to watch the news.

Got to the end of the road and the strap broke on my back pack. Give it here he says I'll put it in mine...

You can't.... Do t you get.. .

He tells me that I'm in a funny mood and all this won't make it go away..... At that point I drove off and said watch the news.... He's oblivious and ignorant. If his wife was alive he would be non of this.... As the Sod said the only person who can help yourself is yourself.

I tried.

At least you tried. My mother is oblivious to it all too, to a certain degree. In the last few days she's asked me to come round to her as she wants to give me some money to buy and Easter egg for her and then to deliver it to my grandson 15 miles away. No! She also phoned me at 10.00 on Friday night as her iPad was playing up and could I come round and sort it for her. Not right now she kindly said, but some time over the weekend. No! When I ask her if she is watching the news and seeing how many are dying each day she says "No, I’m too frightened"!
