Met Police Firearms Officers

Indeed...

Otherwise you just end up with a third world death squad...

Although in order to uphold law and order there needs to be a system to hold the police properly to account...

“Since 1990, when recording began, no police officer has been found guilty of murder or manslaughter following a death in police contact or custody"

Lots of unarmed innocent people shot, including a guy in bed and another carrying a table leg...

No convictions...

Cruella says....

“They mustn’t fear ending up in the dock for carrying out their duties. Officers risking their lives to keep us safe have my full backing and I will do everything in my power to support them"

Except keeping safe the innocent people they kill of course...

And of course she is now demanding that the UK withdraws from the ECHR...

Third world politics!

Even if he were guilty (I don't know) you would still be on the side of the criminals

I will say that our police should be trained well enough to disarm the intended target without killing.

I've done paintball so I know it's not as easy as I say.

The British armed police are the best trained and most restrained in the world.

That's interesting.

How did you gather detailed information from every country, and compose your comparability ratings?

That's nice dear. Of course, as usual, everyone has been doing it wrong all these years haven't they?

Our soldiers should be trained to perfect the "hard stare" method of disarming the enemy on the battlefield & our police should all be black belt level in "ecky thump".

He obviously gathered "statistics" JohnD'ski. Duh.

The dork has no comprehension of statistics, so his guess has no value.

Weirdly, he thinks I am Polish.

Paintball is serious business <not>.

Probably the biggest laff I've ever had is the legend of what happened at the closest thing paintball ever had to a world cup.

The SAS entered a team & they came second . . . . To a team made up of London solicitors !

Some people think Chelski was owned by a Polish billionaire.. some people are so ignorant..

I think that was my point Dork.

Lard head.

On rare occasions, very rare occasions, they will make a mistake.

If, every time that happens, they face a murder trial, it's not worth doing the job, not worth being banged up and losing your family.
Luckily it is rare in the UK compared to the US...

But it does happen...

And if you lost a family member to a 'mistake', how would you feel if there wasn't a chance to get justice and find out what happened?

So what would you do that would categorically prevent 'mistakes' from happening whist still protecting the firearms officers?

I feel a swerve coming on.....
