Millwall

Mmmm. What exactly have they done wrong - legally?

You are sentenced to six months for - booing. N.Korea, China, Russia anyone?

Legality is not the issue, is it?
Millwall FC may not want to be associated with such behaviour, from a moral, community, and financial standpoint.
If MFC have conditions of attendance, and these were breached, they are within their rights to bar the miscreants.
Bringing the club into disrepute?

You do know, that if you hover over your username (top right) then click Privacy settings, you can hide your online status...........simples.

Where some of them boos racist? Yes I would imagine so.

What I find strange is Millwall and football have spent years fighting violence and racism. Now they condemn some of the 2000 fans booing privileged highly paid footballers for bending the knee in honour of a political organisation that supports racist and violent thugs.

Up the Millwall

I used to go Millwall in the Directors suit curtsy of a friend of mine who's associated with the Premier & football league.

ON this one occasion he took my mate Mick. They were playing Cardiff. At half time the Cardiff directors were asked for there own safety to go down to the away dressing-room, as they were not safe.
They were not safe in the directors suit.

They have done nothing wrong..... it was a non violent protest. Some Chelsea fans I'm embarrassed say clapped.

There are young players bending the knee because they are so scared that they will damage their careers. Staff are bending the knee because if they don't they will loose their jobs.

As for fans they have designated seats to their name that they pay a lot of money for. They are scared of loosing their season tickets, so they won't boo. otherwise a lot more would boo.

I would say turn your back on the pitch in protest.

I know what you mean but it was just booing.

Millwall is Millwall...

They've always had a racist element, and being let back into a football ground just allows the knuckle draggers to display their natural tendencies (n)

On Radio 4 today they interveiwed Iona and Romy of SAGE Flowers, they were talking about the training course below. They said they offer the course to non whites. that was the word they used.
Now I don't know if it was the BBC who put them up to it but how does this help diversity. . Diversity is where we all become one chat drink tea and arrange flowers...... surly that is what its all about.

The Den is just around the corner to Peckham.

The lack of diversity in floristry and horticulture has always been an undeniable truth, one so often ignored and too easily shrugged off.

To help address the very real barriers to floristry for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC), SAGE have established a free three month training programme, planned to run four times a year. This will cover bouquet assembly, vase arrangements and large installations, as well as flower theory and practical advice to running a business.

Workshops will be held on Mondays between 6pm and 8pm, once to twice a month for three months.

Only one place can be booked per person per year.

Courses have been incredibly popular and we are now fully booked until December 2021. However, you can join the waiting list for the next cycle by choosing “Waiting List” at the bottom of the list of Dates below. We will notify you if a space becomes available.
