The only one being a pain in ass is your self good sir.

Just exactly what qualifies you to call someone a cowboy who chooses to work with plastic piping. ???

You are unprofessional, arrogant and have a threatning tone on this forum.

What is your role with DIY not ???.

Can we get a few things back into perspective here?

1. Neither kevplumb nor Agile is an idiot, not by a long chalk.

2. It's pointless to compare the use of plastic in u/f heating with its use in other wet systems. This is because (a) the temperature used u/f is different (i.e. less) than that of water when circulating through radiators, and (b) the risk arising from a burst is different.

3. You won't get anywhere by challenging (aka daring) other members to produce statistics.

Please don't confuse me with someone who's against the use of plastic - far from it. I'm keen to use it when it's the right thing to use, and the same goes for copper, iron, threaded, soldered, leaded, unleaded, compression, manipulative, and pushfit.

As I said enlighten me.

Do you want me to repeat the question again ??

or start ACTUALLY talking to your brief

As I said you have a threatning tone on this forum which sticks out a mile.

Thats not how it looks from where I am sitting.
Only an idiot would label someone who uses plastic piping a "cowboy".

Then take another look around the forum, and you'll probably want to change seats.

Only an idiot would label someone who uses plastic piping a "cowboy".
Hm. Or someone who enjoys watching the pyrotechnic replies of people with short fuses. ;)

Now we I see whats happening.

We obviously have someone who posts information and has a connection with DIY not and when the going gets tough he resorts to deleting information .

yet can post rubbish information of his own and throw his threatning weight around.
