You were wrong.

You said you if you were guilty of facilitation you would be convicted under s24. S24 is illegal entry, S25 is facilitation. Would you like a link, so you can read it.
So you are suggesting that some are prosecuted for ilegal entry because of some other reason, (for which they find it not probable to bring a successful prosecution)?

That makes the prosecution random and discroiminatory.
You are being charged becasue you were sat at the back of the boat, and others weren't, so we're not prosecuting them, even though they have committed the same offence that we are prosecuting you for?

and how many should we take via these additional legal routes? 100k, 1M, 20M?
It would motivate the developed countries, escpecially those selling arms to despots, to resolve the resons why the refugees are created.

Are you stating that RNLI spend 20% of their budget in French waters?

I recall earlier, you posted that "RNLI taxis" are hailed at halfway i. e. our waters?
THere's nothing to stop resue services from operating in othenterritorial waters, if it is carried out with agreement.
If the French rescue services request assistance, why shouldn't the RNLI assist.
Wouldn't we expect the same of the French?

A feeling I'm doing my bit, even a little smug. Ahhhh.
So if we all do it, will it change anything.

I'd give it a try if so. We should be doing something after all. I was hoping our Government might step up to the plate but maybe a stern look is more likely
