Sounds pretty good to me!
Pic 4 of the original shots......the tickover screw seems well turned in.
Does turning it anticlockwise reduce the excess speed?

Yep, that’s the spring loaded idle speed screw.
Normally it wouldn’t be screwed in so far as that.

That screw will make no difference as the lever that touches it isnt even close when its running.
I bent back the lever of which the spring that was missing connectrs too.
It now runs a lot better thanks.

Yes, that spring loaded screw only adjusts the tick over speed.
