I think the people I feel most sorry for are the three children being brought up by someone who thinks like this:

"I have been extremely shaken by this. It has been very upsetting and worrying. I don't want to bring up my children in such an environment."

I think Mr. Jones has a point. I wouldn't want my neighbours going about their garden with their kit off. It's obscene. Imagine your small child playing in the garden and some fat old naked bloke leering over the fence possibly sporting a semi, a pair of rusty shears in hand. Not pretty is it. This woman should join a nudist colony or something, she has a responsibility to society even when she is in her garden.

I find that comment fat-old-naked-bloke-with-a-semi-and-rusty-shears-ist !! We have enough to put up with in life without attitudes like this.


Seriously, though, this woman was not in some state of sexual excitement or trying to entice the children over, or learing, or even interacting with her neighbours at all. It sounds like old Jonesy was hanging off his scaffolding in order to get a view. His mock outrage doesn't wash with me.

I have kids and I agree with everything bas has said. If your next-door neighbour wants to sunbathe naked then so what? I wouldn't give a stuff whether my kids saw her (or him). So many people seem to be ashamed of nudity that they think other people should be ashamed of it as well.
