Oh Geordie from King George's men, when he landed in Kingston upon hull and recruited his army as he marched to Edinburgh, so people who are descendent from people on that route.
However many seem to have forgotten were it came from, and seem to think it's connected to a river. But my family had a ship yard in that area, unfortunately the money did not come my way.
