whereby as many people as possible went to university so that the unemployment figures would look better. And so it was that four unemployed musicians spent three years doing media studies and then went on to a research project into the effects of playing mind-numbing music to people who were waiting for nothing to happen
They formed a quartet, and played at the local hospital, on their repertoire, was the silent symphony, they played the first, third, and fifth movements, for those unfortunate bods who were drifting in and out of consciousness.
After a double shift in A and E, some soothing silence was just what the bods needed. The second and fourth movements were reserved for patients
