Anyway who is taking the lid off - drinking the contents then putting the bottle in the bin then travelling to the nearest river or shore line and throwing the caps in the sea.

Well that's more like it, instead of loosing your rag because I mentioned it was an EU idea.
Some people think it will it will cut down the plastic pollution, I think it will make it worse as people rip the lid off and end up with 2 bits of plastic. Personally I will rip it off and chuck the thin bit in the recycling bin and when done with the bottle I will do what I usually do. Squeeze the air out and screw the lid on in the squeed position to keep it squished then put that in the recycling bin.

Its not my fault its a stupid EU idea. If it wasn't an EU thing I am sure that more people on here would agree its a stupid design/idea that will make things plastic pollution worse.
