New Front Door Gone Wrong

I am having a disaster with a company who are fitting a new composite front door with side and top panels.

There was no door in place here before, so they measured up for a bespoke door and panels to be made and then fitted.

The first fitting was a disaster (as per the photos - cracked panels and terrible f in ish in the silicone)

They agreed this was sub standard and agreed to re fit the door.

The second fitting is slightly better but it just doesn’t look straight at all (see photo)

The company are now suggesting that my canopy (white canopy above door frame) is not straight and that is the problem, they are saying they will never be able to get it straight.

Am I being unreasonable in anyway or does the fitting just look as bad as I think it does?

I am not sure what to do now, but feel like asking them to remove everything and call it quits.

A spirit level and a straight edge will instantly determine if the canopy is not straight and/or level, it looks a bit off in the photo but photos can be deceiving.

Are all of the photos showing how the door is fitted now? Because if any if any of the photos are from the first attempt then they're not relevant now.

Only bottom photo is of how door is fitted now.

Canopy is slightly off - a few mil, going slightly down from left to right.

Well if the canopy is sloping and the door (head) is horizontal then how can it ever look even? Are there any issues with this second install apart from this? Your post is not very clear.

I think the canopy slopes one way and the glass panel at the top of door slopes the other way - so what I’m saying is that yes the canopy slopes slightly but so does the top panel.

I’m not expecting it all to be even, the house is almost 100 years old. But I believe it could be much better than the shown photo I.e the glass panel at the top should not slope down to the left….

Regardless of the levels I really hope they are going to address the cracked frame smeared in white silicone and what looks like two cracked welds on the Anthracite grey. I appreciate that the wall surface is a little.rough bit the silicone in those pictures is awful.... I'd be embarrassed

I think that's all from the first install so it's only the out of level issue remaining.
