New Solar PV System - Connection to Consumer Unit

This was my question…should I put it somewhere else? Thanks

But I have a question if I may…can the tails going into the consumer unit go straight into the main switch rather than a MCB…same difference, no?

.... The rest of the house will fail with a loss of the DNO supply. This is in a way good, as don't want to run out of power due to lights being left on.
I think it would probably take a very long time for your (presumably LED) lights flattened your batteries - unless you live in Blackpool Tower :)

Living room main light 48 watt, (8 x 6 watt), cabinet lights 48 watt if full on, one uplighter 40 watt, but most 12 watt, and not left the living room yet, unlikely I would have all lit at once, however intermittent supply can turn on smart lights, or of course turn them off, and the battery 6.4 kWh will stop discharging at 10% unless a power cut, so could well be down to 640 watt/hours, which not even sure if that would keep the central heating running over night.

So it would depend on when we got a power cut, at 3 am I could likely run for days, with reduced use starting with a fully charged battery, at 1 am however would likely not even last until the morning.

What you've mentioned explicitly adds up to 148W (counting just one 'other 12W uplighter'), so presumably a bit more than that in total - which sounds like an awful lot of (LED) light foor one room - I imagine probably equivalent to over 1 kW of incandescents.
