No heating or Hot water.

Sorry Kev, I'm lost
However there is a "three way" valve with a small sliding lever next to the cylinder.

The lever moves freely, I can remember the action when it moves the valve and it isn't doing that!

Just been playing with the lever. It is on the left, by the retaining slot. It is about 5mm from the end. If I push it to the end it obviously engages the valve and returns that 5mm under the pressure of the valve.
I have removed the oblong shaped cover revealing the electrical connections plus 'levers and springs' :) (the actuator :?: )

PS. When all power is off the lever moves about half way across.

Yes. :)
When I switch on the lever moves from the center(ish) to the spot about 5mm from the left(manual position).
Sorry, went to bed at 11.30.

Regards.

Sorry, I need an idiots guide to 'valve spindle'
I have removed the 'actuator' and now see the spindle :!:

Further.....I have now noticed that when the actuator is not screwed in position the lever travels it's full distance to the right(auto).

I am still getting warm water to the radiator pipes although it is not doing the full circuit. The water near the pump is very hot then cools down as it is pumped away.

Regards.

Crossed lines.
Yes, it turns that small distance by hand. It's only about 1/8 of a turn :?:

The spindle seems to move to the same arc as the lever. Tried a spanner but apart from that limited movement didn't dare force it too far. :)
