Footballer Willie Carlin. I remember when he signed for Cardiff in 1973 at the back end of his career. He was a big favourite of Brian Clough when he was at Derby.
I saw him play at the Baseball Ground when i were a lad: cuppa Bovril at half-time, cheese n' onion crisps on tway 'ome. Them were t'days. His partnership with John McGovern was central to their 1972 League Championship success. A central spine in the team with McFarland and Todd in defence and Kevin Hector up front.

Sad news today about Kevin Campbell, the former Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Everton striker, who has died at the age of 54.

I know it well. But had no idea who it was by or what it was called. I remembered it mainly at the time because it sampled "Life in a Northern Town."
