I didn’t. This is a thread about roaming charges. Are you trying to take it off topic?

Rule #2 for your information: 2) Posts should be topic relevant …..

Keep on and I’ll have to report you.

Sorry, how much did you say you've spent on roaming when abroad in Europe?
Recently in Austria I ended up paying over the odds. I started a phone update in the airport, but had to cut it short in the aircraft. It resumed over in Austria and gobbled up all my data. Ended up paying about £8 over the odds.

Not particularly bovvered about phone costs, when there are billions being lost everywhere else because of your stupid costly pointless Brexit.

I guess it's not a hassle being travel limited to three months out of any sixth month period in the EU/EEA areas then?

Or the changed passport requirements meaning the cost has risen due to not being able to redeem unspent months?

Or indeed the extra general costs due to the pound having been crashed?

The extra long queues in the 'losers lane' at control points in the EU/EEA?

Oh and if driving in the EU don't forget to swap your GB badge for a UK one...

Show us a copy of the bill with personal details deleted and I’ll believe you. Go all quiet and we'll know you were faking it. Again.

Will do. However for now I'll say that my bills land on the 20th of the month. They have all been £40 up until Feb, where they blipped up to £48, following my break in Austria. I don't lie mottie.
Good tip though - don't begin a phone update just before boarding an aircraft (regardless of the shítshow Brexit). (y)

Good. My bills land in the 14th but I can check the current charges at any time. Don't you go forgetting now. (y)
I can look on my bank statement (pointless I agree). But the Vodafone app keeps saying 'bad gateway' when I try accessing my personal stuff. Bear with, a teenager in the house will be awake soon...

1 NOPE as most people dont go on holiday for more than 3 months
2 at most SOME people are losing 6 months of their passport validity which is less than a fiver
3 currency markets constantly move a bit like the Euro going to less than parity with the US dollar recently
4 extra long queues ???? really 6 times into europe in the past year and walked straight through and a few times it was still the electronic passport
scanners
5 :eek::unsure:
