In total £18 in 'out of plan' charges.
Been on the porn lines again?

£40 a month? You’re either paying over the odds for unlimited everything from a rip-off provider or you’re buying a phone on HP.

That's for two phone numbers (my son and me). The missus pays for the eldest.

I've downloaded both bills. Costs are shown. My son incured costs when he was skiing in Poland. I incured the costs when I was skiing in Austria.

is this a roaming pass that you would have paid for already with the contract you have regardless of brexit like so many contracts had. You know the minute you landed it said text this number to set up a roaming pass for X amount of usage . Same as some done for picture messages and texts

You are describing the non-EU system where your phone company makes you pay extra to use your phone in other countries.

A cost imposed on us by UK phone companies because we resigned from the EU.

no im not im describing something that phones companies charge depending on what company and what plan you paid for and what it included . Same as some companies charge for picture messages /voicemail /data allowance/ itemised billing etc etc

"When you travel outside your home country to another EU country, you don't have to pay any additional charges to use your mobile phone. This is known as "roaming" or "roam like at home". Your calls (to mobile and fixed phones), text messages (SMS) and data use (web browsing, music and video streaming etc.) are charged at domestic rates, i.e. the same price as calls, texts and data within your home country.

The same rule also applies to any calls or text messages your receive while you're abroad - you aren't charged extra to receive calls or texts while roaming, even if the person calling you is using a different service provider."

This protection applies to the citizens of most European nations, but not the UK since we resigned from the EU

Yep charges covered by your contract but if you have a fixed amount or not part of your contract of data/voice calls text messages /photo messages then the supplier can offer you a bundle at a special price over and above what your contract covers .
You are not being charged any differently than if you went over your allowance in this country its just a special deal

My overview listed them as 'out of plan charges' so no.
so you have been charged for something your contract doesnt cover which could be various things why not put your bill up so we can see what the charges are for
