If, as you say, the form was asking for Ethnicity I would be surpried if it actually had options for Indian and Pakistani, since these are nationalities not ethnicities. Did you actually see these words on the form yourself?

No John but my daughter is a law graduate and just completed an lpc she has just begun the painful process of getting a training contract.. The words Ethnicity, Indian, Pakistani, and African where there(wrongly). She has worked part time for the company the last few years while at uni.

Well I would of hoped that this law grad wasn't so confused by this question.
Yes, some of the options were wrong but the correct answer was there.

Would she have been just as confused with the following,

What is 2+2 =?

A)3
b)4
c) Blonde..

Would she complain that there wasn't a brunette option?


Looking for problems where there are none much?
