When they announced this on the news I thought slightly bizarre, but brilliant at the same time. Try to upgrade your choice of country to freeload from by cherry-picking The UK - and end up right back where you came from. Shame it's so far away and the costs and logistical considerations will be considerable. Better if we could follow Oz and find an uninviting, undesirable, slightly grim small Island nearby to send the swarms to - Ireland or Isle Of Wight would be ideal.
But then I realised it's a Doris plan, and will be a possible plan just to look like the problem is being tackled. Not happening any time soon, but I would like to be proved wrong.

Going on one post some one may have already read a lie. In one version of Rwanda people after going there may get entry to the UK. They will just be processed there as normal. Those that don't fit the criteria will remain there or do what ever. Doing otherwise means breaking international law So yes it will probably end boat people or seriously reduce their numbers but it wont end immigration.
The law needs to be passed too. Sometimes laws do not get passed.
People have to be catalogued as the UK isn't keen on people working under the radar. That slows the process down. Probably intentionally as other countries appear to be able to offer a quicker service.
